Latino Business Student Association (LBSA) at Cal State University Fullerton | Director of Marketing (2024-2025)
Content Production • Professional Photography • Bilingual Outreach
As the Director of Marketing, I led the digital strategy and marketing analytics for LBSA, growing the organization’s following to 2,000+ and increasing engagement by 25% across 40+ campaigns. I functioned as a lead for internal accounts, collaborating with the executive board to launch outreach campaigns that consistently drew 100+ members to events.
In addition to my strategic work, I utilized my skills in professional photography and videography to enhance our digital storytelling and elevate the organization’s resources for students of all communities and ethnicities at CSUF. By filming and editing Reels that averaged 3,000+ views and producing bilingual content in Spanish, I ensured our messaging was both professional and inclusive.
Short-form Video Content
“Mini Mic Chisme” Educational Interviews
“Join The Familia” Recruitment Ad
“From Campus to Corporate” Event Campaign
“OC Animal Care: Community Service” Event Campaign
“Kickoff Beach Bonfire” Event Campaign
“Roller Skate Night” Event Campaign
As Director of Marketing for LBSA, I specialized in creating "scroll-stopping" content for TikTok and Reels. My goal was simple: turn digital views into physical event turnouts. By blending humor with information, I helped humanize the organization and made LBSA feel accessible to every student on the CSUF campus.
One of my favorite projects was the “Mini Mic Chisme” series. I took a mini microphone around campus to capture authentic, interactive interviews with our members. It gave students a platform to share their stories and gave potential members a "vibe check" of our community.
Using CapCut and Final Cut Pro, I produced high-impact videos that didn't just look professional, they got results. Check out some of my top-performing edits below:
Graphic Design
Below is a combination of flyers I have created promoting some of LBSA’s events! The following flyers were made using a combination of platforms, including Canva and Procreate.
Merch Sketches, Process, and Execution!
One of my favorite ways to bring the LBSA brand to life was through our physical merchandise! I was tasked with designing the official gear for 100+ members, which meant I had to create something that everyone would feel proud to wear on campus.
I leaned into my personal artistic style, using Procreate for the initial hand-drawn concepts and Canva to finalize the layouts for production. It wasn't just about a logo; it was about creating a "vibe" that represented our community. I handled the entire lifecycle of the project—from the first sketch to collaborating with manufacturers, and finally seeing the shirts in the hands of our members!
Capturing Moments: Professional Photography
As Director of Marketing, I traded my phone for a professional lens to make sure LBSA looked as amazing online as it felt in person! I used my photography skills to bridge the gap between our high-energy community events and our professional corporate workshops. My goal was to create a visual library that showed off the true heart of our organization.
Whether I was setting up professional lighting for a guest speaker or capturing candid "lifestyle" shots of our members on campus, I made sure every frame told a story. I also had the honor of shooting graduation portraits for our senior members, giving them professional memories to take with them as they launched their careers!
